United and serving together.
Empowering and encouraging our local churches.
The name One City was chosen based off the passage from Ephesians 4:4-6 “There is One body and One Spirit – just as you were called to One hope when you were called – One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism, One God and Father of All, who is over All and through All and in All.”
At One City we truly want to be a place where all churches and their members can come and serve side by side, as one. We will offer opportunities to serve as a whole community, hoping to help alleviate some of the pressures placed on individual churches to plan, budget, and organize new outreach programs.
Not only will One City offer opportunities to serve at our Communty Center location, but we also want to offer opportunities for people to serve at local churches within the community. We know that many of our local churches have needs that could be met by individuals within our community. We hope to bridge the connection of those in need with those who can offer resources to meet those needs, whether it be time, financial or other ways.
At One City we want to come alongside and help empower and encourage our local churches. We, as a community of people and churches, can meet each other’s needs just like the early church did in Acts.
We welcome all churches and their members. We believe one of the greatest testimonies to the true heart of this community will be seen as people come to serve from all churches, with no hint of territorial tension. Instead, people will begin to see the greater and bigger picture. We all call Jesus our Lord and Savior, and together we are brothers and sisters as heirs of Christ.
